Hot Tap /Line Stop Fittings

These fittings are used during hot tapping or line/flow stopping operations on live pipelines. F4 specializes in engineering, designing and manufacturing various pipeline fittings, including hot tap/line stop tees (both fabricated and forged types), welding and bolting types with closure flanges and plugs/flow-through guide bar plugs, hot tap branch nozzles with RF pads, gas bagging line stop nozzles with closure flanges and plugs, and 3-way split tees.
Our pipeline fittings are designed and manufactured to ensure that the integrity of the piping system is maintained. We adhere to ASME B31.1, ASME B31.4 and ASME B31.8 codes in the design of our fittings. We manufacture fittings in ANSI 150#, 300#, 600#, 900# and PN series up to 48 inches, using various materials such as carbon steel, alloy steel and mild steel. (Fittings above 48 inches can be supplied upon specific request/order).

Hot Tap / Line Stop Full Encirclement Split Tees

Hot Tap / Line Stop Full Encirclement Split Tees are essential fittings for hot tapping or line stopping operations. F4 supplies both fabricated and forged/extruded types of full encirclement split tees. These tees can be supplied with a flow-through guide bar for hot tapping operations, or with an L-O-R plug or cam lock plug for line stopping operations, depending on customer requirements.

Hot Tap / Line Stop 3-Way Tees are similar to full encirclement split tees but feature an additional branch connection. This provides multi-branch connections in hot tapping operations or allows for temporary/permanent bypasses in line stopping operations.

These Hot Tap / Line Stop Mechanical Tees are similar in design and construction to full encirclement split tees, but instead of welding, these split tees are fastened to the mainline using fasteners on both longitudinal sides. These are generally recommended for low-pressure operations.
