A Hot Tapping Machine is a portable, under-pressure drilling machine with either a hydraulic or pneumatic drive. These machines allow new connections to be made on an active pipeline without interrupting its operation, making them essential in transmission pipelines for industries such as oil and gas, water, sewage and chemical processing.

This system equalizes pipeline and sea pressure, reducing stress on internal components and extending the tapping machine’s lifespan. F4 manufactures lightweight and portable Tribar Hot Tapping Machines, ideal for low-pressure utility services such as chilled water pipelines in air conditioning systems or air/nitrogen pipelines in pharmaceutical and food processing plants. These machines enable bypasses or branching in pipelines and are particularly suited for areas with space constraints, such as malls, hotels and data centers. Thanks to their light weight and compact design, Tribar machines can be manually installed without the aid of lifting equipment and easily transported to any floor in high-rise buildings via elevator.
